American farming

I don't think the trade off for more consistent or more variety of goods is such an equal trade off for someone's health. There are aslo many negative aspects of farming, like others said, of pesticides, fertilizers, or even the gasoline for new machines. The pesticides and fertilizers soak into the soil and ruin underground water and eventually runs off into our lake. This is disrupting Erie's ecosystem, and these trends cannot be un-done.
